Everyday, Noah Kalina - 20 Years in Photos

What do you see when you look in the mirror? Do you see more wrinkles than yesterday? Can you tell if your hairline has receded slightly? Isn’t it impossible to perceive these subtle visual queues that we’re getting older? It’s usually not until we see a picture from 10, 20, 50 years ago that we really get the full sense of how much we’ve changed.

Noah Kalina however, a photographer who has been documenting his face everyday for 20 years, might have an easier time comparing yesterday to today than most of us. Starting on January 11, 2000, he’s taken a selfie every day - so far over 7,200 photos, and counting. Noah posted his third update on Monday and has broken the internet yet again, this most recent update already garnering over a million views.

And it’s not difficult to imagine why these videos are so popular and enthralling. Due to his creativity and dedication we have been given a truly unrivaled work of art, something every human can relate to and yet has never been done before. We look forward to seeing many more updates from Noah over the coming decades and wish him, and all our readers, good health!
